A peek into my childhood

Assalam-o-Alaikum!(may peace be unto you)

A few days back, when I came back from school, I came to know that the T.V in my mother's room had been connected to the Vidoe player! That T.V had been lying dormant in my mother's room since the arrival of the flat-screen T.v and since it was not connected to the cable, we had completely ignored it.

But, that afternoon my family found our selves glued to that T.V screen, thanks to Mr Vcr! (I guess you'll probably have to look in your histroy books to find that word :P) Anyway, we put up vidoes from our childhood and they were simply hilarious!:D My sisters and I were the most annoying-spoiled little brats of our age with squeaky, shrill voices...
WE would be pouncing around like crazy as if we had springs attached to our feet, doing the most irritating things. ..I think, I was the annoying of all. I made weird faces at the camera and even being told for the gazzalionth time by my father to keep quiet and and stop saying insulting jokes, I kept on making fun of my elder sister. I kept saying that she must be carried away by ants, cockroaches, spiders...Aaaah...It was hilarious, making us all roll around with laughter.*wiping out tear of joy* I could watch them all day!

I thought I was the cutest-he ehe hee...Somewhat like Zoey, Hammie and Wren!
But, on second thought: Nah! I was cuter:P

And apart from watching Home videos, we took out old Disney movies and though the print was pretty bad (The cassettes are probabaly as old as we are) we watched mesmerized. Good old faithful Mr VCR!Been there for all in all the ups and downs... No Dvd or Vcd could replace him :)
