Pakistan defeat India!! Yaaayy!!

... and we defeat India by eighty-five runs. Nothing better. Just made my day! Looks to me like Eden Gardens is destined to remain Eden for Pakistan, a winning ground for a long time to come. Well-played Pakistan! You deserved this win because of your hard work, teamwork and excellent cricket skills! Muhammad Hafeez ought to be captain because of his persistence and spirit! Also the new comer Nasir Jamshed is a great player. Good to see him finally get man-of-the-match specially after Dhoni got it in the previous match (despite Pakistan winning the match and Nasir Jamshed making such a commendable century.)

These two quotes I came across today gave me a lot of hope and I feel like doing the right things in my life even more. I want to make amends and just try my best to adjust to situations in the best way possible. May everyone gain guidance and faith in this world and be able to deal with various situations in life effectively! Sometimes you think you're doing the right thing but hurdles keep blocking your path and you feel like your stuck in the worst possible place. Just sit down, reflect, seek Allah's help and do the best possible thing after that...

Life is a mixed bag

I feel like this picture perfectly reflects a person's two-sided personality. One... free to express whatever he/she wants to express and the other enslaved and entrapped by various shackles around us (which, most of the time, are self-imposed and self-inflicted.) This is the sad story of humankind.

I've learned the greatest lesson of my life these past few months, which has made me very aware of all things around me. Never before was the message ever clear. Life is a mixed bag. Take what you get and appreciate it no matter what the consequences because you could all just lose it one day!
